WE CAN FEEL SO FAR FROM SO CLOSE nora looked around her apartment one last time, making sure that everything was clean and in its' rightful place. it drove her crazy when her place was even a bit out of sorts, especially when she was having someone over. picking a throw pillow off of the floor, she fluffed it a bit before placing it on the couch. stepping back, she checked to make sure it looked right. nora was a big believer that first impressions were the most important, and she's strive to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect. even for the carpenter. deciding that she needed more space for her books and special trinkets, she thought custom bookshelves would be the best way to go. but she was completely unskilled with everything that had to deal with building anything whatsoever, and had thought it would be best if she hired a professional to build them for her.
it hadn't taken her long to find a carpenter in the area, and he was set to come today to see what he had to work with. she had cleared the wall where she wanted the bookshelves to go, and had pictures of different ideas that she had discovered on pinterest and had high hopes for how it would turn out. sitting down on the couch, she looked at her watch. five minutes until he was supposed to arrive. picking the newspaper off of the coffeetable, she began to flip through, waiting for a knock on the door.
