[/blockquote][/justify][/blockquote][/size][/blockquote]so ethan is not a boy to do one night stands, he's more of a romantic, he's more of a wooing kind of guy but he ends up having way too much to drink at a company party and he meets a girl, a friend of one of the chefs that has also had a little too much to drink. talking turns to dancing which in turns has them kissing all the way to his apartment where they end up having sex. in the heat of the moment, they forget a crucial piece of hardware needed to prevent what occurs seven weeks later, a baby. she is now pregnant with his child and has no idea who he really is except for the momentary encounter that they had in a haste in the morning. she knows her friend knows him, and she is sure that they could get in contact that way (but does she want to tell him?). she fears that it will ruin his life, as she is considerate like that, and he has no idea until she eventually breaks down with the pressure of seeing him randomly at the park/beach/pier/local take out place, and he is in shock. ethan has never thought to have a child, being a chef and a bit of a bachelor, he enjoys the life where he comes home to nothing but a dog but he has to step up, the voice in his head tells him so, and he agrees that he needs to be honest and step up to their mistake. basically, that is where the plot takes off from, they don't know each other except in the physical sense and he has opened his doors for her to move into the small, one bedroom apartment (for now), they are going to be a rocky couple, slow to start their dating and just be nervous, reckless in choices and fall in love all at the same time...as for her profession, the idea of her being a maid for someone makes him nervous and i love it, they can fight, or have some other job where she is kind of eye-candy (secretary, cocktail waitress, regular waitress), she has to be a little fiery in order to keep up with his sarcasm and i do have a specific playby in mind , either anna kendrick or leighton meester but i can be persuaded for another face.
