................................
What time is it? the absent thought drifted in his head as all too suddenly he was aware of how dark it was around him, the rebuilt transmission in front of him barely visible anymore. A grubby hand pinch at the bridge of his nose, not concerned in the least if he got his face dirtier than he knew it already was. He push off the stool walking across the shop towards the far wall as he flick on a few lights, the space being poorly lit. Turning back around, Josh made his way back to the stool and slumped onto it, body leanuing forward, his forearms resting lightly on the from of the car, hood propped up, the newly built transmission gleaming out of place. A smirk pull at his handsome face recalling the memories of his father, his best friend and himself all piled into the scrap of metal at the time, pretending to roar it down the highway. He and Chris would make outrageous care noises, while his father would chuckle, body deep under the hood. He let the memory pause there, a sense of fondness and sentimentality creeping over him in a wave of emotions. They say time heals all wounds. But time was taking it's sweet ass time. He crank at a few things here and there, the familiar deep throaty hum quietly being heard, and before he knew it, Josh found himself humming it as well, his knee bouncing out of habit, another trick picked up from his dad no doubt, and he'd even catch Chris doing it every now and again. He must've headed upstairs. Seriously, what time was it? And where was Kels? She must've crashed upstairs as well. Or was out and about causing hell around the city. The latter seemed the more likely route, though he could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time when it came to that brunette. He'd known her for how many years? and he certainly didn't doubt it'd be the last. SHe still managed to surprise him and Chris constantly with her sass and attitude. For such a tiny gal she held so much fire. His cheeks almost heated at the continued though of Kels, though that was quickly and easily pushed out of his head with the a simple scan around the garage.

CAREFUL, FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTION AND I WILL SHOW YOU SELF DESTRUCTION
sleep never came easily to the restless girl, her eyes were constantly opening and closing as was thrown in and out of the throes of the dream realm. she wished to stay in it sometimes, wanting to fight her demons through a subconscious level rather than have to fight them in the real world but the world had been cruel to her for most of her life, it was obviously not going to let up anytime soon. naturally, she was not in her bed above the garage where many of the workers crashed when they felt even an ounce of sleep growing in their eyes—she was out and about. the wind was whipping in her hair while her face was hidden under the protective gear of the bike helmet. always eager to get to work, she found that today was a little bit of an exception but the idea of her two boys being there pushed the negativity away and filled her with some sense of home for a normal day. skidding into a spot in the parking lot, her other leg swung over the body of the bike and the heel clicked on the ground while she lifted the helmet off her head and shook her hair out of the bun, letting it fall into waves. placing the bike and the helmet together, kicking the lever down and looking to make sure everything was locked, she pocketed her key and strolled into the garage where heads picked up from their work to see the newcomer, ”no big deal boys, get back to work.” [/i] she hollered out to them, a sly smirk forming on her lips. heel met concrete as she approached joshua, whose gaze had yet to meet hers and she leaned down to put her lips next to his ear, ”miss me?”[/i] she asked with a grin before standing up straight. glancing down at one of her best friends, the smirk slowly formed into a full fledged smile before peering down at the transmission that sat before him and rolled her eyes, ”not going to tell you what, cause you will never learn, but something is wrong.”[/i] she spoke with confidence before turning her back and heading for the change room while throwing her hair into a twisted bun in the process.[/div][/center] (TREE/JOSHUA, 410, OH THIS IS FUN !)

BLEH! Sorry love :3
The hush of the already quiet murmur should have been the first indicator that Kels had showed up at the garage, though until the sound of clicking heels approached closer and closer from behind, it flipped in his head. He lightly shook his head, an easy smirk pulling at his lips as her hot breath met with his ear, "Miss me?" he kept his voice dry, hiding the smirk pulling at his lips, "Incredibly," he grumbled, "Not going to tell you what, cause you will never learn, but something is wrong" Josh couldn't hold back the chortle of a laugh that burst out before finally peering over his shoulder to look at her, his icy blue pools meeting hers, "Mast of the obvious ladies and gentlemen," I light chuckle escaped past his lips as he turn back to his work, "Why don't you put your purse down and help me then? he paused, "Or did you just get your nails done?" he teased, turning fully around to meet her gaze, leaning back against the open hood of the car, handsome grin pulling from ear to ear as if saying, Yeah, I just went there.
