okay, i'm just going to jump right into this and see how it goes :) this is a man from delilah's past in montreal, canada and while things started off well, they ended rather suddenly. at age eighteen, delilah had started seeing this guy, he was charming, and had a certain way with words that seemed to make everyone trust him, confidence was a talent of his. he had virtually come out of nowhere and just hit it off with her, though little did she know that he had planned every one of their encounters. a few months later, the relationship started to speed up and one evening when the redhead knew her father was away with his work and her half sisters were off shopping with their mother, she invited him to stay with her. seeing his ticket into the large Moriarty Mansion, he accepted, planning on slipping a few of her father's bank ledgers before leaving for the evening. however, that wasn't the case. he hadn't planned on sleeping with her, taking her virginity in the process, but it just happened. afterward the con man still took a few of the ledgers and slipped out while delilah was sleeping. needless to say, when she woke up, alone, to her father's angry rant, she realized the rouse she had walked into. But it was too late and she never heard of or saw the guy again. Now, several years, and several successful, gutsy heists later, con artist here pops up in miami, florida. recognizing delilah's name, along with her rich fiance's money, he decides to tie her into another one of his tricks again. so they meet, though delilah is still bitter over what he did to her and her father and she is determined to keep him from scamming her again, figuring that she knows his tricks. but he just wants her to think that. he isn't going to fall head of heels for her and she isn't going to chase after him, but there will be sweet tension that they keep coming back to. they will both have to adapt to how the other has changed over the years. though, the con man will be at odds with delilah's fiance, but when things hit the fan in delilah and darien's engagement, the redhead is going to lean toward her other lover. the girl just can't fall for a good boy. lol his reasons for being in florida are up to who ever takes him as well as what class he is, and he will be a nonexclusive final for delilah, meaning they are free to go mess around with other people but always come back to each other. now this could change to something more solid as we go, but any added drama and fun is welcomed if whoever takes him as ideas. i would like it to be gaspard ulliel, but is doesn't have to be, i'm open for suggestions!
